New blogger themes are embedded with a large featured post thumbnail which is suitable for desktop view only. This large featured post thumbnail is not easy to remove if you can't tweak your template easily. This issue of not been able to remove featured post has stated to me last month by a blog reader who is also a blogger and installed the emporio blogger theme. I made the solution to the issue via popular social media "WhatsApp".

How To?

==> Log in into your blogger dashboard
==> Go to "Theme" >> "Edit HTML"
==> Let the page load completely. In the page click "Jump to widget"
==> Click "FeaturedPost1" (Automatically, it will take you to the code area of the gadget)
==> There, you will see

<b:widget id='FeaturedPost1' locked='true'........

Tweak the code by changing, true to false to enable the gadget to be removable.

Save your theme.
