Step 1 : Launch your WhatsApp Messenger.
Step 2 : Click on the Menu Button > Tap-click "Settings" >> "Chats".
Step 3 : Click on "Chat Backup" and Tap on "Back up to Google Drive". Set the back up frequency of your choice.

Step 4 : You will be requested to select a gmail account. If you do not have a Google account, tap Add account when prompted.
Step 5 : Tap on Back up over to choose the network you wish to use for backup.
